Sarah Lloyd is a rural sociologist and active citizen. She dairy farms with her husband and his family on the 350-cow Nelson family farm outside Wisconsin Dells. She works off-farm for the UW-Madison Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems and the Grassland 2.0 Project (via UMN) looking at agriculture and food system supply chains. She also works on development for the Wisconsin Food Hub Cooperative and was part of the initial formation of the cooperative back in 2012 during her time as the Special Projects Coordinator at the Wisconsin Farmers Union. She has served on the National Dairy Board and the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board.
